BREAKING: An anonymous band parent has pledged to match ALL DONATIONS up to $25,000!
Excelling at any sport isn’t easy. It requires discipline, teamwork, many resources and long hours of practice.
And our kids can’t do it alone.
That’s why the McNeil Band Boosters need your help. This 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supports not only the McNeil band and color guard, but also the bands at our three feeder middle schools. That’s more than 800 kids to support with printed music and copyrights, purchasing and repairing school instruments, uniforms, private lesson assistance and more.
Please consider investing in your community by supporting these kids who work so hard all year long. Each year begins with marching at football games and contests, then progresses into concert season, solo and ensemble contests, UIL competition and Winter Guard.
We believe we offer some unique benefits that will help you gain exposure as a community member supporting its kids! Please review the variety of levels available. We look forward to hearing from you!

About the band:
The McNeil High School Band is the largest student organization on the McNeil High School campus, providing 215 students with an unforgettable experience that teaches them the value of hard work, discipline, integrity, and most of all, music!
Providing a world class experience to our students is our most important priority, and to do so, we are asking you to help us with a financial donation so we can continue to give our students the best information and experience possible.
Our band program is also growing at an unprecedented rate, so much so that our need for new instruments is outpacing how quickly the district can supply them to us. Simply put, running a band program this large is expensive but with your help, we can continue to support our students to our fullest ability.
We are extremely fortunate to an outstanding private lesson faculty that teaches our students, but as our band program continues to grow, the McNeil Band Boosters are being asked to subsidize the cost for more students per year.
Some expenses we are trying to cover are:
- Private lesson scholarships: $10,000
- New instruments: $10,000
- Clinician costs: $5,000
Please watch our show, Inverted, performed at the Region 26 UIL Marching Contest. Your generous donation to our program will help to make our program and future shows like this one a success.
Thank you in advance for supporting the Maverick Band!
Your donation may be tax deductible. McNeil Band Boosters, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit.
